So after months of basically getting fit and sitting around watching most of the world flooding or pretty much if not all the mainstream bad news, i'm bored. The town called Ingham is due to flood again and maybe Cairns. This Queensland is not an easy place to live. I can't see anything here of interest apart from the golf courses which I can not get near because it rains hell hard all the time. I was watching a clip from Arizona and I can see that place is getting flooded a lot now also.

Another day passes, this is Saturday, apparently. After being holed up here for so long, I have lost track of time. In fact, I don't even wear a watch anymore. Looking at the mainstream media and just from being in a town, it is pretty miserable news. Everyone knows about the problems stemming from power struggles, yet still fly around in cars. I don't see anyone really working, maybe just a few, the rest is just not really working, I suppose...

While researching how to go about fixing the stuck root, I found an x-ray of another humans skull with the same problem... Perhaps they went to the same dentist, who knows? Anyways, the tooth shown is exactly the same fault as I had, and using this as a reference was a big help. Obviously, getting an x-ray done is better, but every time they blast you, is not good. Also, they want money. I wouldn't have attempted the job if I thought, I couldn't handle it.
Anyways, time has moved on since and most of the world has been flooded, earthquaked or warred but I still seem to be standing which is always good.
Time to quit smoking (again.)

Well, today, after the extraction, feeling fine. I have a filling that came out and have refilled it using the zinc oxide and oil of cloves, however I have found the compound that the dentist uses for $20 and will fill it myself later. It's called Denseal, but stuff like this you just can't get here, not to my knowledge. It's proper filling. Now, a good brush and and stains will come off.
Another thing I would like to get is some Iodine. If you mix it with Borax and Bran with water, and sink your feet in it for 20 mins, it makes corns go away properly. I got corns by wearing workboots for years. All it is, is hard skin which build up into a little circle usually. You can grind them off/out, but they come back.

A full moon, perfect for extracting teeth roots...
So, there you have it... An extraction that went wrong by a dentist, finally, sorted. The second part of the root came out with a bit of a fight. After roughly quarter a bottle of Bacardi (I hate that stuff, but for dental extraction, sure.) I used the pliers again and
twisted the remaining piece in a clockwise motion until good and loose. It came out in a sideways angle and at the moment I am waiting on the clot to heal using nothing but a piece of tissue. Very glad to have this sorted because I was getting run round in circles about having to go and get X-Rays and probably be hospitalised in order to finish this job. Of course I am annoyed about it, but am just glad it is over. I have some other dental work, which I can probably pull off myself also, but it's not that bad. The next port of call is a good scrape all round and that I will do using salt and a mixture of decent toothpaste, this always goes a long way to getting stains off the inner side of the teeth. Currently the outer side is pretty not bad, but with lots of smoking and tea drinking etc the inner side can quickly get black before you know it. Another thing that messes up teeth is antibiotics, so just remember that.

Today, after the root I pulled out, I am feeling a lot better, like, a hellalot better :) I couldn't get lidocane today, but I did get a course of Amoxicillin, which I will use in case of infection. The thing about that lidocane, is that unless you mix it with epinepherene, it's basically useless because it's out of the bloodstream too quick. When it's mixed with epinepherene the analgesic properties last tonnes longer because the epinepherene makes the blood able to hold the lidocane longer basically. I will try using some alcohol which a local donated but not for a few days yet. The reason being, I am waiting a few days so that the initial clot is good and tight, so that the final shard comes out with less blood (and pain.) Once this is done. I will scrape the teeth using a compound of salt and strong toothpaste, which helps get smokers stains off the inside. After this, prolly best to stop smoking (again.) I hate being asked about smoking, and frankly I don't like it, but when you're wasting time it goes with the territory. The last time I stopped smoking, my old dear called me a pervert, so you see, damned if you do, and damned if you don't situation. Seriously though, I'll cane it because currently after losing so much weight, and lifting weights, it would make sense to do this, and also it sucks.
After 7 years of a dental problem inflicted by a dentist, I finally bit the bullet and decided to go loco on it myself. The tooth fragment above is part of what was left of the lower jaw 2nd molar after an extraction went wrong long ago. Originally, the gum grew over the affected shrapnel but over the years it wore through to the tooth again. After playing around with the root I decidied I could take it. A swift call down to the local foodstore and bought a cheap set of long nosed pliers. The process of removal, I recall from a good dentist (I don't like the word, qualified.) The way it is done, is grip the tooth and twist in a clockwise motion (almost like stirring a bowl of broth with a big ladle.) By doing this, it makes the resulting yank out part much more bareable as the gum is all good and loosened up. There is a small part still left, which I will remove under a small dose of lidocane or alternatively a half bottle of whisky. The root is dead, but the gum is a bit tender so this is probably the best way. Just glad this sucker is out. They told me i'd have to go get xrays and probably have a surgeon cut into the jaw to get this out...

For some reason, I keep getting emails about silly things. I have considered that in fairness, despite replying to the sender not to contact, it does not seem to stop them sending these silly emails. An example of which arrived tonight again...
Hello all, hope you enjoy this :o)

Today, nothing happened, except rain. Also, Melbourne is now flooded, but I can't post images because, for one, i'm sick tired posting bad weather images and also, the mainstream media just loves this stuff... Again, it will go in the best collection of bad weather from around the world 2011 edition at the end of the year. Honestly, I can barely keep up with the amount of events. Oh, here's a picture I drew.

So, no doubt, I'm wondering what I can even do here. The cleanup process has been very quick with most main streets back cleared. Just now i'm typing on laptop battery as the power has been out here for around 3 or 4 days like most of this town. Many people are running generators and are probably a bit prepared for this, better than me. I'm very upset that the coal, cane and mining has been held up badly not to mention logistics. Although Aus is a large country, most of the place is bare, obviously, people just in cities and towns, so, really, it's not that big when you think about it. I am unsure what else to say at this time, really, I should be out doing something, but I don't know where to start. I never was a hoo haa type, and running things by the seat of the pants type, but there is a lot of that here and grandiose, smartly too.

The air is getting hotter again now. Weather here is again, suceptible to change, the things that worry me now are thunderstorms and flooding. My only hope is that my relatives get their $1000 approved from the government as relief payout, in hope that they can begin rebuilding their lives. Life is hard here without these essential very much needed government centrelink (aka dole office) pecuniary benefits. I can't see how they will able to cope without this extra financial levarage.

Another day passes, this area is getting regular rain and thunderstorms now. Despite constant interrogation by relatives regarding personal things, it is extremely mentally exhausting. I found the IQ test from Mensa a completely simple affair compared to silly trivial constant tit for tat bickering about non progressive subjects.
I am trying to weigh up whether it really is worth staying in Aus long term given the amount of politics and urban rubishness that dominates most places. At the moment, I just haven't met too many of the right people, although there are a few, lurking out there somwhere in the shadows i'm sure.
Really, I badly need a week in bed just to get a proper rest from talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk amongst other basic necessities like the power back on at my house and a job worth doing etc. I am tempted to go mining, but whatever I end up doing, I need a reliable crew that isn't into killing one another by silly mistakes. After 15 years of pretty manual work, I know from experience that some jobs just are not worth the hassle, no matter the pay. When I left the UK, a well paid job came up for me with a good salary near 50K annual. Literally, I couldn't take it, because the weather was so bad, never mind the workplace politics that often goes with the package.
Honestly, im exhausted. Surely a lotta pretty normal people around here will be too. This last cyclone beat the hell out of this town, but certainly it should have been way worse. It will take a month or two before proper normality regains here, despite material things being fixed/replaced etc.

Well, the cyclone is over now. I have not posted photos, as I did not find it appropriate to fixate on local devastation with people obviously trying to get back on their feet after such an event. I will create an album at the end of the year though, containing footage of the cyclone along with any other weather disasters that may occur on a worldwide scale. I do this in an attempt to keep track of the scale of the weather menace that is global now.
I am just so glad that there were no atrocities to my knowledge, apart from material damadges. Something must be looking out for us, because really, we shouldn't even be here today given such an event. Everyone should thank their stars who made it through that.
