The harbour was chock full of boats. Sometimes, when you make it big, you gotta ahem "lose" cash quick, these are always a great option, besides, they bob on the waves too, you can't get better than that ;)
Brass band was a welcome surprise at the Brisbane botanical gardens. I recall the music was well played and had a welcome vibe to it. Cheerie, aye.
Sitting down on the bench, it began to dawn on me, you know this, it's really quite damn hot, god damn, i think i'll drink this entire bottle of juice, dammit.
So like, this is a Mining Excavator. Now, you may be thinking, OMFG that has got to be expensive. You're right, but not too bad if you're half sensible... I priced a bigger, even bruter machine than this one pictured at $40K USD shipped. OK it was second hand, and been in use since '98, but you get the idea. When you are making money digging rocks, a comfy chair and a wireless radio is basically all ya need. Cruise control and nightvision goggles is just silly for this type of affair, c'mon now, be sensible.
The funniest thing, I was just like chatting to these nice girls about house prices and one of them asked for a pic. Sure ok, I had one in my wallet, so handed it over. Next day, I walked past this gate on the way to the bank. Must have made an impact, truly honoured ;)
