Due to all the financial chaos, something that seems to be the new trend again is million dollar squatting. It seems people have been capitolising on bank repos by moving into vacant buildings and then claiming squatters/tenants rights. It is a real shame, but obvious something like this was going to happen. Greed creates envy, envy creates jealousy, jealousy creates a world of hurt that nobody wants no piece of. Even these squatters should be aware of hurricane Irene which is ramping up the coast as I write. Evicting them is one thing, but evacuating them is another... Property is just not the golden nugget it is made out to be these days, it is relative of course.
