Right. Interesting conversation with a local in this place about passports and visa shit. Apparently this guy lived 20 years in London and was originally born in NZ. After 20 years he tried to claim immigrant status and was knocked back. I was like wtf min?! You know, that's pretty ill. So anyways, we was talking about passport stuff and where it all originated from. It would appear that the very first travel documents were made by Muslims in order to pass from one town to another. They were very basic and basically a note that would be passed to the local brass when visiting a nearby town to let them know that they were cool. But... The passport that we know today, was properly introduced by King Henry the 5th of England, and from there it gets pretty dull.
